ABOUT THE VOLCANO CLASSIC VAPORIZER

The Volcano Classic from German manufacturer Storz & Bickel has been the most popular forced-air desktop vaporizer on the market since its release over a decade ago. Easily the most recognizable vaporizer in its class, the Volcano Classic’s iconic design and unparalleled functionality have made it a must-have for any vaporizer enthusiast. The Volcano Classic Vaporizer, through its patented technology, removes toxins and other harmful byproducts (i.e., tars and other carcinogens) through a vaporizing process which intensifies the effects of the active ingredients released through the vapor by approximately 75 percent. The German hand-crafted Volcano Classic Vaporizer technology which circulates air enriched with the active ingredients of the substance vaporized into a balloon through a valve, until the balloon is filled. After the balloon is inflated the valve can be completely detached and separated from the device. The contents of the balloon can then be safely and comfortably enjoyed completely independent from the vaporization process. The balloon allows for vapor storage for up to 8 hours. Its unique features and design make it one of the most popular vaporizers.

We also stock a complete line of replacement parts for Volcano vaporizers.

Solid vs. Easy Valve:

The customer’s preferences and requirements were taken into consideration when developing the Easy Valve. The Easy Valve is characterized by very easy handling and minimal maintenance work. Attaching a new balloon to the valve is no longer required, as the Easy Valve comes as a ready to use valve balloon unit including mouthpiece. Once the Easy Valve can no longer be used, you simply replace the old with a new one. The Hassle-free set up benefits those looking for a low maintenance option. Eschewing the time-consuming task of cutting a bag to size and attaching it to the solid valve, the Easy valve set for the volcano classic vaporizer allows for rapid change of your vaporizer bag, ensuring optimum performance. The starter set is delivered with 5 Easy Valve balloons and the appropriate filling chamber. The Easy Valve filling chamber is cleaned and re-used.

The Solid Valve is the standard valve and sold has sold in the tens of thousands. One can choose its individual balloon size as the Solid Valve Set comes with a box of 3 meters of balloon material. Using the Solid Valve, the replacement of the balloon is kind of tricky and needs some experience, but the Solid Valve provides a less expensive long-term option, as the balloon material can be bought for a reasonable price. The solid valve also boasts an unrivaled customization experience as the user can create a bag of any size they wish. This option is perfect for all sorts of consumption, from mini bags for personal use, to room size bags for those mega share sessions. The Solid Valve is the perfect choice for the vapor enthusiast looking to add some customization to their vaping experience.

Established at the Beginning, Future-Proof Technology

Storz and Bickel have consistently gone out of their way to bring the bet technologies and materials to the world of vaporization consumption. Establishing the first vaporizer related patent, Storz & Bickel worked to perfect their forced air system, ensuring a healthier and more consistent vaporization experience. From their manufacturing factory in Germany, every Storz & Bickel Volcano vaporizer is assembled with the care and precision of a luxury automobile. Working with the finest materials, the craftsmen ensure the utmost quality for every volcano vaporizer, hand checking it at every stage of production with a final quality control check before every individual Volcano vaporizer leaves the factory.

While Storz & Bickel have been prominent figureheads in the vaporization industry, don’t think that the volcano classic vaporizer can’t compete with any vape currently on the market. The aluminum heating block and stainless steel chamber consistently produce pure vapor with the utmost reliability. While some may balk at the initial investment of a volcano vaporizer, the longevity of the device is unrivaled by any other vaporizer. On top of the stout construction of the Volcano Classic Vaporizer, comes the Storz & Bickel warranty which is widely regarded as one of the very best in the industry. With the combination of high quality construction, cutting edge technology and the assurance of the Storz & Bickel warranty, you can rest assured that the Volcano Classic vaporizer will be by your side for many years to come.

Frequency of Bag Replacement

The balloon should be replaced by a new balloon after cleaning the valve set in regular intervals (after 50 - 100 balloon fillings). The balloon used is the Volcano balloon. A roll with 3 meters of this product is enclosed with each Volcano, which is sufficient for 5-6 balloons. We carry both Easy Valve with bag replacements and vaporizer bags for solid valve mouthpieces. You may also use other heat-proof oven hoses or oven bags, e.g. in the U.S.A. use Reynolds oven bags Type "large". Do not use any other plastic bags or cling wraps. On the other hand, once an Easy Valve can no longer be used, you simply replace the old with a new one. By far less seldom (approx. 1x per year in everyday use) although it may be necessary to replace the filling chamber screens. Each complete set is furnished with 3 upper and 3 lower screens. That will last a long time. No other parts are subject to wear and tear.

    Volcano Classic

First ever Vaporizer I even vaporized out of when I was 16 yrs old so to me these other Vapes such as the oil,wax and herb pens are good for on the go but if you want a nice smoking session the Volcano is the way to go. You can make your bag big if you have more than 2,3 people or for example when I'm alone fill one bag up full and IT WILL LAST YOU about the whole day! NO THE SMOKE DOES NOT GET STALE unless it's been in the bag for more than 8 hrs according to the makers of the Volcano. I would recommend the SOLID Valves because the easy valves are basically self explained. They are called easy valves because the are SO SIMPLE to attach to the bag but I like the SOLID because of the mouth piece and design attachment to the bag releases almost no VAPOR! Having to be pressed down with your lips tends to not leak the Vapor out like the easy valve does with the mouth piece design. Hands down the Volcano in general is THE BEST AT HOME VAPORIZER IN THE WORLD. I've tried many others before and the only one that comes close would be the Silver Surfer, but I am not a fan of the tubes. If I want to relax myself and watch TV or something the last thing I want to be doing when I'm trying to enjoy myself is to get the bud to cook but not burn such as the Silver Surfer is designed.

    Excellent Product

Germany won this war as this vaporizer is of top quality and works as designed. Made in Germany. I have purchased cheaper ones only to throw them away. Don't wast your time on cheap junk as you will end up buying this one anyway.

    Volcano Review

You get what you paid for, and this website is the best place to get it!

The volcano will vaporize all of your herbs and contain the vapor in that wonderful bag for you to enjoy. I got the classic version because I had heard that the digital upgrade isn't necessary and I have to agree - the classic works perfect. Throw that on 7 and leave it there for most herbs. You can also do some google searches based on the species of herb you are going to vaporize for suggestions on numbers.

The volcano grinder is also one of the best grinders i've ever used. It doesn't have a screen catch, but you won't need it... This little plastic grinder pulverizes whatever you put in it (which is important, the more ground up you get stuff for the volcano, the better)

If you are trying to decide easy vs solid valve, I personally purchased the easy valve and wish I had gotten the solid one (i'll be purchasing solid eventually). Keep in mind that with very regular use (several times a day), I have to change the bags about every 2 weeks. Easy valve bags are harder to change out yourself, but it is possible if you want the convenience of the easy valve and also want to save a little money between bag cycles, the valve itself lasts a while.

Quit looking at the other vaporizers, this one is the one you want. and vapornation is the cheapest and best deal you can find!

    Valcano Vape gets an A++

Best Vape Period. Simple to use. I keep my dial on 6 and it works flawlessly and gives me about 3 bags of vapor out of a bowl of herbs. You get what you pay for and what you pay for here is Quality, pure and simple.

    Not worth it to me

I sold my volcano because I just didn't like it. I'm not saying it doesn't produce good vapor, but it has some negative sides that I think most people will ignore just because it's a volcano. First off, I got tired of sucking vapor out of a plastic bag real fast. People say it's good for parties, but i'm long past that stage in life where thats even a concern. Second, I would like to see the herbs being vaporized so I can make temperature adjustments based on the color of the plant matter. With the volcano, either classic or digit, you have to fill at least one bag before being able to make a judgement based on the herbs, which I feel is one of the best methods to accurately tell if your temperature is too high/low. This is just my experience and opinion, but I think although it's a quality vaporizer, the volcano is not the best there is. I bought mine based on the name, and ended up losing some money in the end. A little research can help find less expensive yet equal or better quality vaporizers. Still, just my opinion...

Q: How do you change the screens on the Volcano Classic Vaporizer?

Asked By Leonard on September 22, 2017

A: Hi Leonard, If you're using the Easy Valve, simply unscrew the valve, take out the stainless steel insert, and pop the screen out from it. When using the Solid Valve, the screen is located in the filling chamber insert. Disassemble the valve, remembering where all the parts go. When you unscrew the bottom of the insert, the components will come apart. Poke the lower screen out of the filling chamber and remove the bottom ring with tweezers. Best Wishes, The VaporNation Team

Q: How often should the bags be changed?

Asked By Elaine on November 23, 2015

A: It really depends on frequency of use. However, you can typically get about 150 uses out of the bag before you start to see yellowing. That's a sign that it's time to change it.

Q: Does the Volcano come in a unopened box?

Asked By Charles Childrey on March 08, 2015

A: Yes, it arrives in a closed box with the manufacturer's seal unbroken.

Q: Can this product be used on 220-230V countries?

Asked By Osvaldo on August 14, 2014

A: Yes, the Volcano can be used on 220-230V.

Q: Once the vapor is in the bag, how long can you keep it in there and still inhale it without the vapor going stale?

Asked By Mirabela on June 03, 2014

A: Storz & Bickel states that their bags can hold the vapor for up to 8 hours once it has been filled.
